There has never been a more exciting time to join us. Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (T&G IC) will provide the foundation for one of the first ICOs in England, bringing together a wide range of health and social care services for the benefit of local people. The ICO will manage a person’s entire care in the future, by linking up hospital services with community care and mental health services as well as working closely with GPs.
We expect that, to fully transform these services, will take between three and five years. Clinical Fellow – Acute Medicine
We are looking for a Clinical Fellow to work in Acute Medicine at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Candidates will have full registration and experience of Adult medicine. The role will provide an ideal opportunity for the successful candidate to sharpen their skills in Acute Medicine.
These successful candidates would form part of a team that manage the care of medical emergency admissions into the Acute Medical Unit/Ambulatory Emergency Care Unit & the Integrated Assessment Unit. There would also be the opportunity to in reach into the Emergency Department to assess and treat medical patients.
The Trust offers all staff a comprehensive training and support programme. Whilst this post is not recognised for training, there is an excellent post graduate centre for all training needs with access to library facilities 24 hours a day. There is also access to a newly built modern pathology and Radiology Departments.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
