There has never been a more exciting time to join us. Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (T&G IC) will provide the foundation for one of the first ICOs in England, bringing together a wide range of health and social care services for the benefit of local people. The ICO will manage a person’s entire care in the future, by linking up hospital services with community care and mental health services as well as working closely with GPs.
We expect that, to fully transform these services, will take between three and five years. This is a unique opportunity for Tameside and Glossop to be at the forefront of developing more joined-up integrated care; and we are absolutely committed to getting it right. Clinical Fellow in Surgery - Temporary 12 months
We have an exciting opportunity to support the General Surgical Department to deliver elective and non-elective activity and to form part of the on-call rota at Tameside General Hospital. The post holders will have the added benefit of working across a range of specialities to include:-
The successful post holders will be based on site providing a range of ward based duties and will have the opportunity to attend clinic and theatre sessions. The post is part on on-call rota with prospective cover.
Applicants should have established skills in general surgery. Excellent communication and team working skills, a strong commitment to teaching and service development are essential. Prospective candidates will need to demonstrate post registration General Surgery experience at level and should have MRCS part one equivalent, current GMC registration, be enthusiastic and committed.
